BEIRUT — A joint task force comprising international aid agencies and regional peacekeepers has successfully opened a humanitarian corridor to deliver critical supplies to towns cut off by recent conflicts.

The corridor will allow convoys of trucks to deliver food, clean water systems, and emergency medical kits.

Operations and Security The corridor is protected by designated demilitarized checkpoints staffed by neutral observers. The operation aims to deliver over 500 tons of supplies daily.

'This corridor is a vital lifeline for thousands of families,' the UN Coordinator stated. 'We call on all parties to respect the neutral status of these aid convoys and ensure the safety of humanitarian workers.' Medical teams have also set up mobile clinics along the route to treat injured civilians.
